When I blow what clearly should have been an amazing shot but for my ineptitude, I like to futz around with that lost photo in Lightroom and this is what invariably happens to them. I am incredibly drawn to backlit, underexposed, high contrast photography of musicians. It feels very unnatural to me to put up full color, well lit, “happy” concert photographs.
